Private Norbert W. Romens arrived in Europe February 9, 1969, and was assigned
to the 189th Military Police Company, U.S. Army Ammunition depot, Miesau. As a
military policeman he will assist to maintain the security of the USAADM.
The 20 year old enlisted man is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Romens of Rural
Route 1, Unity. He is a 1967 graduate of Colby High School.
Prior to his entrance in the Army he was employed by Johnson Service Company,
Milwaukee.
Pvt. Romens began his military career Sept. 26 and received his basic training
at Ft. Campbell, Ky. He received his Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Gordon,
Ga.
