Seidel, Kay Ann (17 AUG 1963 - 26 JAN 2016)

Kay Ann Seidel 52, of Dorchester, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester. Family and friends are welcome from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester is entrusted with the arrangements.

Kay was born on August 17, 1963, the daughter of Donald and Birthe “Bea” (Pedersen) Seidel at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

She attended Dorchester Elementary School and was a 1982 graduate of Colby High School. She was disabled most of her life and stayed at home.

Kay loved spending time with family and her dog; Buddy and also loved to bake. She was an avid collector of tea pots.

Kay is survived by her father: Don Seidel of Dorchester, siblings; Anni (Mark) Bunkelman, Linda Holmes, Karen (Jeff) Willingham, William (Chris) Seidel and Kristy Snow and further survived by her faithful companion; Buddy and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Berthe “Bea” Seidel on June 30, 2014.
