Marvin, Kathleen (Marriage - 18 May1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tozer, who were married May 18 in ceremonies performed by the
Rev. Ronald Nordin at Calvary Lutheran Church, are making their home at 1630
Queen St. Bloomer.
The bride, the former Miss Kathleen Marvin, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Marvin of Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Tozer, Bloomer, are the
groom’s parents.
Highlights of pearl and sequin clusters accented the bodice of the sheer nylon
organza bridal gown, and lace trimmed the bodice, sleeve cuffs and hemline of
the A-line skirt, which featured an attached chapel train.
Lois Marvin was the maid of honor and Pam Meindel of Bloomer, the bridesmaid.
Their gowns in shades of yellow and green organza, respectively, were styled
with sheer sleeves.
The groom’s attendants were Gary Tozer, Bloomer, as bestman and Frederick Faul
as groomsman. Ushers were Robert Marvin and Mark Rihn. Thomas Tozer was the
ringbearer and Jacqueline Meindel, the flower girl.
A reception was held at the American Legion Hall.
The new Mrs. Tozer is a graduate of Neillsville High School. Her husband
graduated from Bloomer High School. Both are employed in Eau Claire.
