Mass servers of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will picnic today (Thursday) at Hatfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Thad Zajac drove to Stone Lake Sunday afternoon to watch the Moto-Cross races there. Their son, Dennis, won first place in the top division of the motorcycle race competition. Mr. and Mrs. Zajac were overnight guests at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, and returned home Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieser and sons were among guests at a gathering last Wednesday evening honoring his niece, Coralee Kieser, who graduated that evening from Abbotsford high School.

Sunday guests at the Max Lucas home were her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Zschernitz of White Bear Lake, Mn, her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Anderson of Black River Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bladl of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. John Sladek of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Walter and Miss Ann Walter. The Lucases, Zschernitzes and Andersons were among guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. La Vern Zschernitz in Stanley on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Flynn spent the weekend with the Vern Hansons at the Hanson cottage at Phillips. On Tuesday, the Flynn’s son, Michael, of Eau Claire, visited with them at their home.

Mrs. Estella Dux and DeWayne and Mrs. Meta Lang attended the graduation of Rhonda Walker Friday evening at Prairie Farm High School. Rhonda, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manley Walker of Prairie Farm, is Mrs. Dux’s granddaughter.
