Horn, Esther Anna (6 JUN 1917 – 1 MAR 1969)
Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Horn, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were held
Wednesday afternoon, March 5, at Greenwood.
Mr. Horn died Saturday evening at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, following a
lingering illness. She was 51 years of age.
The Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of the arrangements.
The former Esther Anna Tesmer was born in the town of Colby June 6, 1917. She
received her education in Colby schools. On July 24, 1941 she was married at
Green Grove Lutheran Church to Harold Horn, who survives her.
The couple operated a farm two and one-half miles north of Greenwood until about
eight years ago, when they moved to Greenwood where they operated a root beer
stand.
Mrs. Horn was a member of the United Church of Christ at Greenwood and the Salem
Aid Society.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, James, at home; a daughter, Miss
Eunice Horn, Milwaukee; a brother, Bernard Tesmer of Colby, and three sisters,
Mrs. Theodore (Loella) Frome of Colby, Mrs. Carl (Lenora) Paschke of Winneconne,
and Mrs. Louise Thieme of Marshfield.
