A birthday party in honor of the first birthday of Laura Lee Kloehn was held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kloehn, Monday night, Feb. 24. Guests were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Haas and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Kloehn. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. has and daughter, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haas, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kloehn, Dale and Karleen Kloehn, Judy and Karen Haas, all from the Unity area; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kloehn, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kloehn, Mr. and Mrs. John Kloehn and son, Marshfield; and Mr. and Mrs. George Nemec, Spencer.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Meacham and family attended a birthday party in honor of Leroy Dommer Saturday night at the Dommer home, rural Spencer.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bruecker and daughters, Black Creek, spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Salter.

Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Gustafson visited Mrs. Gustafson’s aunt, Mrs. Tillie Jochimson, at Sheboygan, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Gustafson were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Stammer and daughter, Karen, from Jefferson.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Greening entertained Sunday in honor of the birthday of their daughter, Mrs. Donald Sleeter. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sleeter and sons, Jeff and Scott, Wis. Rapids; < Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Lynn and daughter, Marsha, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Hein and Daughter, Kathy,, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Kilty and sons, Spender, and Mr. and Mrs. Eldore Seefeldt.

Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lynn were Mrs. Joe Kohlbeck and daughters, Kathy and Karrie, and son, Keith, Wausau.

Mrs. George Cooke and Mrs. Clarence Ravy visited with Mrs. William McNeight at the Bethel Convalescent Home, Arpin, Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Fred Johnson visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft on Saturday afternoon and with Miss Evelyn Wicker, Colby, Saturday night. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft and Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft took her to her home in Onalaska.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fischer and Herman Neuman, Spencer, visited Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Johnson at Arpin on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Johnson have moved into their new home in the village. They had been living in in the home of Mrs. George Cook while their house was being built.

Mr. and Mrs. Clem Weis and family Stratford, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hebert.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cook, Sheboygan, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cook.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Olson visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Olson at Chippewa Falls on Sunday.

Miss Ruth Ewert, Chippewa Falls, visited this weekend with her mother, Mrs. Dora Ewert.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Colby and family visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Lucy Colby.
