Ingersoll, Robin Carroll (19 SEP 1902 – 3 MAR 1969)

Robin Ingersoll, 66, a former Abbotsford resident, died Monday afternoon at his home at Marshfield, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Hansen Chapel at Marshfield, and burial was made in the Hillside Cemetery there.

Robin Carroll Ingersoll was born Sept. 19, 1902, in the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.). He attended the Abbotsford High School and Northland College at Ashland. His marriage took place at Chicago on October 4, 1939, to the former Ethel Fenton, who survives.

They lived at Chicago for one and one-half years, and then came to Marshfield. For 16 years Mr. Ingersoll operated several services stations. He was then associated with the C.W. Mitten Co. and the Lloyd L. Felker Co. until 1944, when he became associated with an insurance company as a salesman.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Kenneth of Abbotsford and Carroll of Zion, Ill., and a twin sister, Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Smith of Portland, Ore.
