Ingersoll, Robin Carroll (19 SEP 1902 – 3 MAR 1969)
Robin Ingersoll, 66, a former Abbotsford resident, died Monday afternoon at his
home at Marshfield, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Hansen Chapel at Marshfield, and
burial was made in the Hillside Cemetery there.
Robin Carroll Ingersoll was born Sept. 19, 1902, in the town of Holton (Marathon
Co., Wis.). He attended the Abbotsford High School and Northland College at
Ashland. His marriage took place at Chicago on October 4, 1939, to the former
Ethel Fenton, who survives.
They lived at Chicago for one and one-half years, and then came to Marshfield.
For 16 years Mr. Ingersoll operated several services stations. He was then
associated with the C.W. Mitten Co. and the Lloyd L. Felker Co. until 1944, when
he became associated with an insurance company as a salesman.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Kenneth of Abbotsford and
Carroll of Zion, Ill., and a twin sister, Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Smith of Portland,
Ore.
