Hiltz, Mary Beth (Engagement - 1974)
Mrs. Catherine R. Hiltz, Brookfield, announced the engagement of her daughter,
Miss Mary Beth Hiltz, to Richard L. Schmitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lamarr Schmitz,
Neillsville. The bride-elect is the daugher of Mrs. Hiltz and the late John F.
Hiltz.
Miss Hiltz will graduate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in August
with a degree in elementary education. Her fiancé, a senior at the same school,
with majors in psychology and biology, will graduate in December. He is
affiliated with Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity and is presently employed as a
psychiatric attendant at Lakeview Hospital, West Salem.
An October 19 wedding is being planned.
