Kassie, Barbara Anne (15 FEB 1969)
Miss Barbara Anne Kassie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Kassie, Colby, and
Edward John Magister, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward B. Magister, Milwaukee, were
united in marriage February 15, 1969 at a noon mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic
Church, Milwaukee. Father Glisch officiated at the ceremony.
Attendants of the bride were Miss Carole Kassie, sister of the bride, Miss
Hojnack and Mrs. Michael Bullock.
The best man was Michael Franken and the groom’s attendants were Donald Ramig
and David Rosinski. Ushers were Thomas Kassie and Robert Magister.
The bride was attired in a white satin, A-line dress with long sleeves and a
cowl collar. The dress was accented with Venetian lace down the front and
trimming the train which was attached at the shoulders. She carried a bouquet of
white orchids on a prayer book.
The attendants wore empire waisted, moss green velvet tops with pistachio green
crepe bottoms. They were trimmed with moss green Venetian lace. They carried
colonial bouquets of god pompons with moss green velvet streamers.
Festivities of the day included a supper and reception at Ray Bussier’s at Oak
Creek.
The Magisters are now residing at 3811 South 35th Street, Milwaukee. They have
planned a belated wedding trip to California in May.
Barbara is presently employed as an editorial assistant at Northwestern Mutual
