Bublitz, Laura Bell (5 JUN 1891 – 17 MAR 1969)
Mrs. Laura Bell Bublitz, 77, of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 8 a.m. Monday,
March 17, 1969, at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be
held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Curtiss. The
Rev. Roger Tellock will officiate and burial will be made in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The former Laura Bell Neitzel was born June 5, 1891, at Rhinelander. She was
married June 1, 1915, at Curtiss to Otto Bublitz of Abbotsford. The couple
operated a farm in the town of Hoard until 1953, when they moved to Owen to
operate a motel. They retired in 1962 and lived at Owen.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Lorraine) House of
Abbotsford and Mrs. Ted (Margie) Panzenhagen of North Palm Beach, Fla.; a son
Virgil of Owen, a brother, Lawrence Neitzel of Abbotsford, and two sisters, Mrs.
Mabel Hansen of Park Falls and Mrs. Albert Kuehling of Pleasureville, Calif.
