The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Poehnelt of Abbotsford was baptized Sunday afternoon at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, with the Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating. Sponsors for Mark Edward were two cousins, Robert and Miss Mary Poehnelt of Marshfield.

To celebrate the occasion, supper was served at the Poehnelt home. Guests included the sponsors and their parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Poehnelt and family of Marshfield, the Rev. Emil Hodnik, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Oelke of Stetsonville.
