Miller, Arvilla A. (25 APR 1920 – 4 FEB 2016)
Arvilla A. Miller, Age 95, of Spencer, WI went to be with her Lord and Savior on
Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Continental Manor-Golden Living Center in
Abbotsford.
Her funeral service will be held at l l A.M. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. David M. DePaoli will officiate.
Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, (Town of Brighton,) Spencer,
WI. Visitation will be held Monday at the church in Spencer from 9AM until time
of services. The honor of pallbearers belongs to Bradford Bruss, Jason
Czubakowski, Troy Gawlikoski, Charlie Kobs, Perry Kobs, Tyler Kobs and Archie
Schwantes.
Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer is assisting the family.
Arvilla was born April 25, 1920 in the Town of Spencer, the only child of the
late Fred and Laura (Voelker) Korth. She attended Brighton School, Trinity
Parochial School and graduated from Spencer High School. On August 5, 1939, she
married Charles F. Miller at Trinity Lutheran Church. Sadly, Charlie passed away
on September 27, 2010. They owned and operated a dairy farm east of Spencer, and
when living in Colby, she worked in the kitchen at the Colby Nursing Home. Her
faith and family were very important to her.
Survivors include her two daughters: Diane (Harland) Kobs, of Janesville and
Charlene (Gary) Gawlikoski of Spencer; grandchildren: Myra Jean (Terry) Heller,
Perry (Patti) Kobs, Renee (Steve) Bauer, Jay Gawlikoski, Gayle (Jason)
Czubakowski, and Troy (Niki) Gawlikoski; great ¬grandchildren: Charlie, Tyler,
Timothy, Julian, Taylor and Addie, as well as other relatives and friends. She
was preceded in death by her great¬ grandchild, Emma Bauer. Mom will be truly
missed.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Leanne and staff at the
Colby Retirement Community, Deb and staff at Continental Manor and the Asera
Care Hospice staff of Weston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or the
Lutheran Hour.
