Mrs. Bill Kozlowski is confined to her home as a result of severe bruises
receive last Friday afternoon when her car slid on the ice into a Soo Line
Diesel engine, at the crossing on Highway 29.
Mrs. Kozlowski, who was driving their car from home, on the west side of town,
to their store, around 2:00 o’clock, saw the diesel coming from the north and
applied her brakes.
The car skidded for several feet on the icy street and struck the engine. The
force of the impact threw her out of the car. X-Rays were taken but no broken
bones were discovered.
There was considerable damage to the car, which has to be towed away.
