Henchen, Dorothy (Legion Auxiliary Service - 2016)
Dorothy Henchen was recently honored by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary for her many years of service. She has been an active member of the organization for 64 years. Dorothy is married to “Lefty” Henchen. They met many years ago at the former Legion Hall on Hewett Street, where she was a waitress and he fried fish. They will celebrate their 41st wedding anniversary in May of this year. (Contributed photo)
