Roschnafsky, Janice (29 SEP 1916 – 12 DEC 1957)

Mrs. Frank Roschnafsky, Chicago, nee Janice Opdycke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Opdycke, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was born September 29, 1916 at Frederick, S.D. The family moved to Greenwood in the fall of 1920, where Janice received her education and grew to womanhood. She graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1935.

Mrs. Roschnafsky passed away following a heart attack at her home on Thursday, December 12, 1957.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 16. Burial was made at Lincoln, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Janet) Skweres and Mrs. Melvin (Fay) Schumacher.

Janice was a member of the Greenwood Methodist Church.

She was united in marriage to Frank Roschnafsky at Lake Villa, Ill., on February 8, 1953.

Mrs. Roschnafsky passed away following a heart attack at her home on Thursday, December 12, 1957.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, at the Kerrigan Funeral Home in Lincoln, Ill. Rev. H. Sheldon Pattison, pastor at the First Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Uniton Cemetery in Lincoln, Ill.

She is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Opdycke, Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Janet) Skweres, Lake Villa, Ill.; Mrs. Melvin (Fay) Schumacher, Kallien, Texas.

Relatives and friends who attended the funeral were from Decatur, Chicago and Lake Villa, Ill.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Greenwood, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Opdycke, Greenwood and Mrs. Eugene Skweres, Lake Villa Ill., also attended.
