Kurth, Donald A. (19 JUN 1904 – 25 DEC 1957)
Donald A. Kurth was born in Neillsville on June 19, 1904. While attending school
he worked at the C.C. Sniteman Drug Store.
On August 30, 1937 he was married to Ardis Shannon at Crown Point, Ind. He was
employed as pharmacist in Chicago, becoming a registered pharmacist in July of
1945. He held that position until the time of his death.
Mr. Kurth passed away at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville on Wednesday, December
25, 1957.
Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Neillsville at 2:00
p.m. on Saturday, December 29. The Rev. Alfred Schewe officiated. Burial was
made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Emma Hauge; one sister, Mrs. Arthur
(Gretchen) Ampe, Madison; and four brothers, Herbert Kurth, Neillsville; Walter
Kurth, Stockton, Calif.; Harry Hauge, Neillsville, and Carl Hauge, Milwaukee.
His father, two brothers, Julius and Harold, and one infant sister preceded him
in death.
