Dorothy Kebl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kebl, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), has
been selected by her classmates and the faculty to receive the D.A.R. Good
Citizen Award this year. This award is given each year to the senior girl who,
in the estimation of her classmates and the faculty, best represent the
qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. This award will
be presented at the commencement services.
Dorothy is not only one of the top students in her class scholastically, but is
also active in a variety of school activities. She is secretary of her class,
F.H.A. historian, vice-president of the glee club, and chous secretary. She is a
member of the senior band and the pep band. She is active on the annual staff
and the school newspaper staff. She is a member of the Photo Club, and has taken
part in one-act play contests. She has been awarded two certificates in the
National Essay Contest for her contributions.
