Laundy, Dolores (1 MAY 1931 – 19 APR 1958)

Dolores Wessel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wessel, was born in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), on May 1, 1931. She received her education here, graduating from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1949. In July 1949 she went to Waukegan, Ill., where she was employed.

On March 31, 1951 she was united in marriage to Harold Laundy at Waukegan, Ill. They have resided in Waukegan since their marriage.

Mrs. Laundy passed away at Waukegan on Saturday, April 19, 1958, following complications of child birth.

Funeral services were held at the Quietdale Funeral Chapel at Waukegan, Ill., on Tuesday, April 22, and burial was made in Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, Ill. The Rev. Darrel D. English officiated.

Mrs. Laundy is survived by her husband, three children, Denise 6, Eugene 2, and William one week old; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wessel of Greenwood; her sister, Miss Jeanne Wessel, Minneapolis.

A son, David Robert, preceded her in death.

Among those who attended the funeral were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wessel, her sister, Miss Jean Wessel, Minneapolis, and her aunt, Mrs. Elmer Kuester, Thorp.
