Colby, Elaine Elizabeth (Paul) (9 AUG 1927 - 7 FEB 2016)

Elaine Elizabeth Colby passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Cornell Area Care center.

Elaine was born Aug. 9, 1927, to Harry J. Paul and Anna Marie Paul.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Colby; brothers, Galen Paul, Myron Paul, Clyde Paul; sister Coreen Neitzel (Bernie Neitzel); son, Bradley Colby; daughter, Barbara Wisniewski (Joseph Wisniewski); grandson, Jerome Michael Wisniewski; son-in-law, Dan Grodevant Sr.; and grandson, Daniel Grodevant Jr.

Elaine is survived by her sisters-in-law, Lois Paul (Galen Paul), Henrietta Paul (Clyde Paul) and Nicki Paul (Myron Paul); son, Jerome Colby (Donna); daughter, Wendy Grodevant; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Colby; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Feb. 27, 2016, at Big Drywood Lutheran Church. Visitation begins at 10:30 a.m. and services will be held at 12 p.m. A luncheon will follow.
