Levenson, Myrtle (Pearson) (17 JUN 1927 - 17 FEB 2016)
Myrtle Levenson, 88, Ogema, died in the Aspirus Care and Rehab in Medford on
Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
She was born in Prentice on June 17, 1927, the daughter of Benjamin and Ella (Teschner)
Pearson.
She was married to Raymond Levenson in Prentice on June 25, 1949. She was an
active member of the First Lutheran Church of Ogema.
In her free time she enjoyed travel, sewing, flower gardening, playing cards,
visiting with family and friends, working on arts and crafts, and collecting
knickknacks.
She is survived by three children, Raymond, Ogema, WI; Nancy (Kenneth) Nikkila,
Westboro; WI, and Michael (Cindy), Riverside, CA; three grandchildren Ken,
Kevin, and Sean; four great grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, Nash, and Kendra;
one brother, Kenneth (Karen) Pearson, Ogema; one sister, Helen Waldhart, Wausau.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, who died on June 29, 2012; and
one sister, Florence Steiner.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 20, at the
First Lutheran Church in Ogema with Pastor Linda Strader and Pastor Bob Giese
officiating. Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery, Prentice.
Friends may call at the Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice on Friday, February 19,
after 4:30 P.M. and on Saturday at the First Lutheran Church in Ogema from 2:00
P.M. until the time of services.
The Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
