Effective February 28, the Soo Line will operate its sleeping car between
Ashland and Chicago three days per week in each direction, stead of daily,
except Saturdays.
The new schedule calls for departure from Ashland on Sunday, Tuesday and
Thursday evenings, arriving in Chicago the following mornings. And departure
from Chicago on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, with arrival at Ashland
the following mornings.
The use made of these sleeping cars is very light and does not justify
continuance of this service on its present basis.
