The Greenwood High School Student Council elected John Staut, senior class president, to head the group this school year in their organizational meeting last week. John Staut is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Janvid Staut, R. 1, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.). Richard Rohde, senior, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rohde, R. 1, greenwood, will serve as vice-president this year. Council secretary is Luann Syth, Junior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Syth, R. 1, Greenwood. Kathleen Koschak, sophomore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Koschak, Greenwood, is the treasurer. The Student Council members also chose Mr. Cissna as faculty advisor, who will work witht eh group with the principal.

The greenwood High School Student Council is made up of eight voting members, which include the class presidents and a Student Council representative elected from each class. The Student Council is very active in regulating and sponsoring student activities. The first big project this year will be organizing and running the annual magazine sales campaign.
