Komorowski, Sandra Dorothy (23 AUG 1958)
On August 23, 1958 Miss Sandra Komorowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Komorowski, 2709 Van Norman Ave., St. Francis, Wis., became the bride of Romaine
W. Denk, Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Denk, Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.), at a 9:30 a.m. Nuptial Service at St. Frederick's Catholic Church, West
Allis. Rev. J. Weber, pastor, officiating.
The bride wore a floor length gown fashioned with a tunic of rosepoint Chantilly
lace, with two ruffles around the skirt hemline and featured a scoop neckline
and three-quarter length sleeves. A lace half-pillbox headpiece, studded with
sequins, secured her fingertip veil. She carried scalloped carnations, pink
rosebuds and phielonopsis.
Miss Carol Ann Mazurek, Milwaukee, friends of the bride, as maid of honor, wore
a floor length gown of mint green. The bridesmaids were Misses Caroline and
Mildred Denk., Greenwood, sisters of the groom, who wore pink and blue floor
length gowns. They were fashioned of spray net and featured scoop necklines,
with flower headpieces and short veils. They also wore white gloves and carried
bouquets of yellow, blue and pink carnations.
The groom was attended by his cousin, Thomas Lindner of Loyal, as best man. The
groomsmen were Gerald Komorowski, brother of the brid,e and Jack Denk, uncle of
the groom. Both are of Milwaukee.
The ushers were Arthur Komowoski, South Milwaukee, brother of the bride,a dn
Reynold Lindner, Loyal, cousin of the groom.
A breakfast was served for 140 guests at the American Legion Hall, Cudahy, Wis.,
and a 5:00 dinner and reception were served to 225 guests.
The groom is a graduate of the Greenwood High School, and the bride graduated
from Mercy High, Milwaukee.
They enjoyed a trip through the east and Toronto, Canada. They reside at 11 24
South 61st Street, West Allis.
