Carol Wendt, Owen (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, a student at Stout State College,
Menomonie, Wisconsin, took part in the traditional Christmas concert at the
college, which was held in Stout auditorium on Wednesday evening, December 17,
1958 at 8:00 p.m. The evening performance was open to the public.
Participating in the event were over 100 vocalists and instrumentalist in a
program which included traditional Christmas carols, spirituals and folk music
appropriate to the season, and contemporary selections. Conducting the concert
was Dr. Edfield A. Odegard, chairman of the music department at Stout State
College.
Carol, a freshman at Stout State College in Home Economics, is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wendt, R. 1, Owen, Wisconsin.
