West Eaton (5 Dec 1918)

The writer has just learned of the death of James McMaster, which occurred at his home in Augusta. His wife died just a years ago this November. His former home was in and around Neillsville for more than 40 years, where he was a stock buyer. He is well known to all old settlers.

Mr. Bishop helped Mr. Davey move a windmill last Monday.

Jason Bostwick ate Thanksgiving dinner with the home folks.

Mr. and Mrs. George Gemmeke and daughter, Iola, spent Thanksgiving under the parental roof.

Mr. and Mrs. Thorson and children spent Thanksgiving with Mrs. Thorson’s mother at Globe.

George Gemmeke called on Frank Able Tuesday.

Jason Bostwick and mother and the George Gemmeke family spent Thursday afternoon with the Davey family.
