Pleasant Ridge (12 Dec 1918)
Delphane Blackman is slowly recovering from a bad attack of influenza.
Ernest Swann and family spent a few days of last week with his brother, George,
and family.
Mrs. Raine is caring for her daughter, Mrs. Herb Counsell, who has influenza.
The Reed School began last Monday with three scholars present and had to close
again as so many are sick with the flu.
Mrs. Elmer Selves has been quite sick the past week.
Norma Wren is gaining slowly. She is able to sit up.
Mr. and Mrs. John Vine and son, Clayton, and family, spent Sunday with Lon
Huckstead and family.
George Vine and family spent Sunday with Will Waterman.
Mrs. James Hughes is able to be up again.
Irving Gerhardt is quite sick with a cold.
Irving and Esther Braatz have been quite sick with jaundice.
