He came to Neillsville about 1872, and was married here March 5, 1873, to

on Puget Sound until the time of his death.
He was a life member of Neillsville Lodge F. and A.M.
With him at the time of his death was his brother-in-law, Frank Breed, and the
latter’s two daughters, Mary and Margaret, who had been attending him in his
last sickness.
He was married twice, both wives preceding him in death, the second one having
died last June.
He was buried in Seattle beside his first wife, and his foster daughter, Lillian
Dopp.
