M.M. Bahl called on F. Hatton Tuesday afternoon.
Jack Farning spent Tuesday afternoon with his daughter, Helen, at Hatton’s.
Torry Bahl came home some time ago for a visit here with her parents.
R. Waseca, Leo Palzer, and J. Halle were Loyal callers Thursday.
Sophia Waseca returned from City Point Wednesday, where she spent several weeks
visiting relatives and friends.
Al. Flagg spent Wednesday evening at C. Hatton’s.
Jake Solmerson purchased two fine milch cows at the Carl Jornby sale.
Mrs. H. Magadanz and son, Jos., of Heintown spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs.
J.J. Susa.
Fred Halle is able to be about again after quite a long illness with the flu.
The Globe Cheese Co. held their annual meeting Dec. 4, for the purpose of
electing officers. Other business was also transacted. The officers elected were
F. Hatton, Pres.; B. Henchen, Vice-Pres.; Erich Schoenherr, Sec.; Otto
Steinberg, Treasurer; S.B. Flagg, Salesman. The cheese factory shows a good
report for the year and all the shareholders and patrons are well pleased.
Fred Kalkofen was a business caller in Neillsville Saturday.
Roy Rowert is back home again after working for Mr. Kohlman for several months.
Ervie Gates was a Sunday evening caller at the Wm. Rowert home.
Homer Potter, Evan Hatton, and Fred Kalkofen spent Sunday evening at the D.
Moorehead home.
Chas. Churkey hauled marsh hay for Ed. Keefe last week.
Miss Loretta Moorehead spent Saturday evening and Sunday under the parental
roof.
Paul Susa, who is working at Globe, spent Sunday with his parents in Owega.
John Schmidt of West Eaton is at the Hugo Lentz home in Eaton Center caring for
the family, as they are all very sick with the flu.
Mrs. Otto Rheil was a caller in this vicinity last week.
Marvin Churkey, who was badly burned, is getting along fine.
Mrs. Chas. Bostwick called on Mrs. F. Hatton Saturday afternoon.
Wellon Hartson, our former mail carrier, is back on the route until Frank Drake
is able to drive again. It seems good to see Wellon again. We surely missed him.
