West Eaton (26 Dec 1918)

Mr. and Mrs. Brick have the sympathy of the entire community in their moment of sorrow. Their son, Walter, was a faithful worker at the West Eaton Cheese Factory and his death has cast a gloom of sadness over all.

Lyle Bostwick called at Dimler’s Tuesday.

Ben Stanley has finished sawing wood in our vicinity and will move his wood saw to Loyal.

John Able has been very sick the past week.

Mrs. Oznick called on Mrs. Podobnik Friday morning.

Carl Davey has got so he can haul milk to the factory again. We are all glad to see him around again.

Mrs. Podobnik has been sick in bed for several days. We hope for her speedy recovery.

Dr. Baker was called out to see Mrs. Lakotick, who is quite sick.

Mr. Thorson called at Bostwick’s Tuesday.

Ira Leach was calling on the farmers of our vicinity Thursday.

Mr. Selisker and Mr. Lenher and Mrs. Lenher have all been sick with the flu.
