Heilman, George K. – Rev. (1890? – 19 FEB 1959)
The Rev. George K. Heilman, 68, former pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church,
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away suddenly at his home at 5363 North 35th
Street, Milwaukee, on Friday, February 19, 1959. He has been in poor health for
several years. He was born in Limbach, Germany. He was pastor here from 1925
until 1948, when the family moved to Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel
Lutheran Church, Milwaukee. Burial was made in Graceland Cemetery.
Rev. Heilman is survived by his wife, the former Lillie Boecher; three
daughters, Mrs. Edward (Anita) Duschak, Racine; Mrs. Milton (Hertha) Wege,
Milwaukee; Mrs. Phillip (Lenore) Mellius, Random Lake; four grandchildren; one
brother, Rev. Oscar Heilman, Concordia, Mo., two sisters in Germany.
