The top honor students in this year's Greenwood High School graduating class are
Dorothy Krultz, valedictorian, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Selvian Krultz, Rt. 3,
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Sharon Braatz, salutatorian, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Leonard Braatz, Greenwood.
Dorothy Krultz recently returned from an all-expense paid trip to Washington,
D.C., Williamsburg, Richmond, New York and Minneapolis/St. Paul as Wisconsin's
Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow. She won this honor, in competition with
over 10,500 other Wisconsin high school senior girls, and with it a $1,500
scholarship. Dorothy has not only been a top student throughout her four years,
but has also been very active in school affairs. She is editor of the school
paper and business manager of the annual. She has been a member of the FHA and
has played in the senior band throughout high school. She has also been active
in forensics and as a member of the discussion and debate groups. Dorothy will
attend Marquette University next fall, where she will major in mathematics and
sciences.
