Madison – Jeffery P. Hoehne, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), engineering student at
the University of Wisconsin, will be taking part in the 1959 Engineering
Exposition to be held in four large engineering buildings on the University of
Wisconsin campus in Madison for 3 days this coming week and Friday through
Sunday, April 10-12.
Jeffery has an exhibit on solar energy powered reaction turbine.
The Exposition will be the result of six months of preparation and is designed
to show all phases of engineering achievement. It will be open to the general
public and will reveal how science, engineering and industry affect the daily
lives of everyone. Its general theme is: Engineering – Working for You. Over 125
working exhibits and displays will be shown continuously for the 3-day event.
Awards will be given to the best student exhibits.
Jeff is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hoehne of this city.
