The Green Bay Board of Education has announced the appointment of Harvey Humke to the position of Principal of the city's newest elementary school.

The Beaumont School, presently under construction, will served the residential area around Green Bay's new football stadium and arena. It will be completed and ready for dedication ceremonies and occupancy next September.

The Humke's went to teach in the Green Bay city schools in 1955. Harvey has taught a self-contained sixth grade and worked in the Physical Education department of the Norwood School. He somewhat regrets leaving the classroom, but is looking forward with great anticipation toward his new administrative position.
