Miss Margie Dusso and James Hesselman were married Saturday, April 28, 1959 at
St. John's Lutheran Church, Fox Lake, Wisconsin. The rites were held at 3:30
p.m. Rev. Schmidt, pastor, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dusso of Rosendale. The groom
is the son of Mrs. Wm. Godfrey. The bride is a graduate of the Fox Lake High
School and the groom is a graduate of the Cudahy High School.
For the wedding the bride selected a floor length gown of silk organza, styled
with long sleeves, embroidered bodice and chapel train. Her fingertip veil fell
from a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of two orchids surrounded by
lilies of the valley. She was given in marriage by her father.
Miss Donna Dusso, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore a pink ballerina
length dress of nylon chiffon and carried a bouquet of pink carnations with a
white center. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Bernard Dusso, sister-in-law of the
bride, Dorothy Smith and Beverly Van de Zande, friends of the bride. All wore
aqua colored gowns styled as the maid of honor's. They carried bouquets of aqua
carnations with white centers. Janis Dusso, another sister of the bride, was
flower girl. She wore a floor length white dress of nylon chiffon, with
headpiece of nylon chiffon and lilies of the valley. She carried an orchid
surrounded by lilies of the valley. Ricky Yjzik, nephew of the groom, was the
ring bearer.
The groom was attended by a friend, Gary Varsik, as best man. Groomsmen were
Bernard and Kenneth Dusso, brothers of the bride. The ushers were Jerry Dusso,
brother of the bride, and Billy Dusso, cousin of the bride.
During the services Jimmy Lidtke sang "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord's Prayer,"
accompanied by Mrs. Grahn as organist.
Dinner was served to 100 guests in the church parlors at 5:30 p.m. A reception
was held at Shambergsss Country Club, 4 miles out of Fox Lake.
The young couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Florida and will be at home at 4051
North 47th Street, Milwaukee.
