Dahl, Harriet J. (Hamm) (22 MAR 1935 - 4 JUN 2010)

Harriet J. Dahl, age 75, of 562 Billings Avenue, Medford, passed away on Friday, June 4 at the Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center, Medford, where she had resided for the past 2 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 7, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford, with Rev. James Krueger, officiating. Interment will be at Medford Evergreen II Cemetery, Medford.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Roger and Geo Faber, Brandon Omelian, Dave Dahl, Steve Hamm, Jeff Tom.

Visitation will be at 4-7 P.M. Sunday, June 6 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford and also from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 7 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford.

Harriet was born on March 22, 1935, in Medford, to William and Helen (Leonard) Hamm.

She attended Medford Area Schools. On June 26, 1956, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford she was wed to Eudell G. Dahl, he survives.

Harreit apprenticed under Lorraine Vickerman and became a licensed beautician and also received her manager license. She worked at the same Beauty Shop for 46 years. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, music, dancing, playing the accordion and guitar. Harriet always took care of everyone.

She was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford, and a past member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford.

Harriet is survived by her husband, Eudell G. Dahl of Medford; children Linda (Mike) Louther of Apache Junction, Arizona and Lance (Debora) Dahl of Medford; 1 granddaughter: Jessica (Al) Ksionek of Englewood, Colorado; siblings, Bill (Sylvia) Hamm of Medford; Frankie (Shirley) Hamm of Chelsea; Rosie (George) Tom of Stetsonville.

She is predeceased by her parents, William and Helen (Leonard) Hamm and a sister, Marlene in infancy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Harriet’s family to be designated at a later date
