Globe (2 Jan 1919)

Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Worchel and Ms. L. Kalsow were at Eau Claire last week to attend the funeral of Mr. Worchel’s daughter, Mrs. Kleist.

Miss Elsie Mallig spent last week with her sister in Granton.

Louis Scheel and Oscar Kuenkel returned home from camp, having been discharged.

Paul, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hemp, has been very sick with inflammation of the bowels, but is a little better at this writing.

Elsie Hemp was home from Eau Claire for the holidays.

Pete Susa spent Christmas with his folks near Greenwood.

Curtiss Cowles of Neillsville is visiting at the Carl Schroeder home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mitte entertained a host of friends and relatives at a Christmas dinner.
