Kenneth Grabe of Neillsville spent a few days with friends here.

Miss Verla Rowe and brother visited Sunday afternoon with Clyde and Arleigh Graves.

Max Wiernszenski, an employee in the Kissel Kar Shop at Hartford, spent Christmas here with his parents.

Guy Hales returned to Madison on Thursday.

Mose Page and family of Stanley ate Christmas winner with the A.W. Hales family.

Ed. Dahl went to Minneapolis last week for a few days.

Miss Ivy Peet returned from Osseo Sunday to resume her duties a teacher in District No. 2 on Monday.

Miss Jean Davis, a teacher in the Marshfield High School, spent the holidays at home.

Mrs. Martha Campbell of Neillsville visited her daughter, Mrs. Frank Rogers, for a few days the past week.

Mrs. Ida Root, who we reported as being seriously sick, is improving, which is good news to all of her friends.

Joe Frei and family and Verla and Milford Rowe spent Christmas night with A.P. Fulwiler and family.

Carl Lange, who we recently reported very sick last week, died on Tuesday morning and his five months’ old baby died the next day. They were taken to Merrill for burial by a brother of the former. Mrs. Lange, who has also been very sick, is better at this writing.

Irma, Isla and Fern Rowe spent Friday afternoon here with their Grandma Rowe.

Following are the officers elected last Saturday night by the M.W.A. members: Consul, Forest Rowe; Advisor, Walter Rowe; Clerk, Amos Fulwiler; Banker, Roy Lawrence; Escort, Jessie Rowe; Watchman, Dale Fulwiler; Sentry, Irvin Vande Berg; Trustee, 1 year, Guy Gwynn; Trustee, 2 years, Harmon Huntley; Physician, Dr. H.W. Housley.
