Last Week
Henry Yunker and daughter, Erna, were Neillsville callers one day last week.
R. Schoele and E. Gossa made a business trip to Marshfield Thursday.
Otto Grosnick and family autoed to Marshfield Thursday.
Len Boone, Ernest Gossa and W.F. Buettner were Neillsville callers Saturday.
Sidney, the little 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Morse, died of
pneumonia following influenza on Tuesday. The funeral was held on Thursday and
interment was made in the Christie Cemetery.
Mrs. James Boone and sons, Walt and Peter, were Neillsville shoppers Saturday.
Mrs. W.F. Buettner is able to be around once more.
Little Lloyd Buettner has had a bad cold, but is up and around waiting for old
Santa.
Mrs. R. Schaele and children were Neillsville shoppers Saturday.
Mrs. Roy Sischo was a city caller Friday.
Mrs. W.F. Buettner received word that her nephew, Harry Vail Fasbender of
Nevada, Wyo., had been killed in the last big battle.
Mrs. Otto Runge has the flu.
Verna Schaele called on Vivian Buettner Friday.
Will Buettner was out soliciting for the Red Cross Friday in the Forman district
with good success.
Miss Jesse Harper, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Harper, died Monday
morning at her home here. Pneumonia following influenza was the cause of her
death. Jesse grew to young womanhood in the town of Weston. She was a young lady
who has held the respect of all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss her
father and mother and two sisters, Hattie Raymond and Zella Asplin. Zella and
her babe are very low with pneumonia at this writing.
