Pleasant Ridge (2 Jan 1919)
Mrs. Rob Petznick is very ill with the flu. Also Hilda Petznick.
Corp. Ernest Vine came home Monday from Camp Dodge, Iowa on a two weeks’
furlough to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vine.
Everybody is pleased to see Ernest home again.
Mrs. Geo. Swann is able to be out again.
George West and Sam Cook were out working on the Red Cross drive last week.
The George West family and the George Vine family have all been having the flu,
but are recovering nicely.
George Swann and wife spent Sunday with Jim King and family.
Elgar King is spending a few days with his grandpa.
