Jennie and Gusta Podobnik are sick with the flu.

Geo. Gemmeke delivered some pigs to John Stanton in Greenwood Friday.

Merrill and Leo Stanley visited their cousin, Lyle Bostwick, Sunday.

Orville Dimler was seen on our streets last Sunday.

The Lakotick family are all on the gain. We are very glad to hear this.

Mr. Oznick has had a light touch of the flu.

John and Frank Vedrich visited Frankie Arch Sunday.

Jason Bostwick came up from Neillsville to spend Christmas with the home folks.

Mr. Podobnik called on Mr. Lakotick Thursday morning.

Mrs. Vidrich called on Mrs. Podobnik Wednesday.

Mrs. Persin is sick again.

The Bostwicks and Gemmekes called on the Davey family Christmas Day. This was the first time the Glee Club has met for a long time and they enjoyed some good singing.

The Borgers family spent Sunday with the Davey family.

Paul Susa visited the home folks Christmas Day.

Mrs. M. Bahl is on the sick list. Victoria is home helping care for her mother.

Mr. Lakotick, who has been sick, is not much better at this writing.

George Gemmeke hauled Mr. Lakotick some wood Thursday morning.

The news of the death of Mr. Blecke was a shock to all who know him. Mr. Blecke was one of Clark County’s most honored and respected men and well liked by all who knew him. He grew to manhood on their home farm when he died. As a young man he was always kind and pleasant to all, never passing anyone without a smile. His death is a sad one for his loved ones and they have the sympathy of the entire community in their time of sorrow.
