Janesville Settlement (9 Jan 1919)
Mrs. M. Dillenbeck and son, Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kalkofen and Mr. and Mrs.
C. Dalton and son all spent New Year’s Day at the F. Hatton home.
Mrs. D. Moorehead had the misfortune to lose a good horse last Monday morning.
Homer Potter and Billie McNamara were New Year’s Eve callers at the D. Moorehead
home.
Mrs. Lena Boyce is at the Lewis Barton home in Christie helping Mrs. Barton with
her housework.
Cecelia Clintsman spent New Year’s at Globe with her parents.
Fred Halle was a Globe caller Friday afternoon.
Chas. Halle was a business caller on J.J. Susa Thursday.
Mr. Lokotick of Joliette, Ill., spent several days here at the home of his son,
Joe. He returned Saturday, taking his grandson, Joseph, Jr., with him to spend
the winter. Joseph is the youngest boy in the family.
Mrs. Lew Dimler spent New Year’s with Mrs. Frank Meyers.
Marion Flagg has been on the sick list a few days the past week.
Mrs. Palzer of Owega spent Sunday afternoon with her daughter, Mrs. S.B. Flagg.
Anna and Sophia Waseca spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. C. Hatton.
Ms. Chas. Bostwick is able to be out again after being ill for several weeks
with the flu.
Mrs. F. Hatton and son, Evan, and Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Flagg and daughter, Marion,
all spent Sunday evening at C. Hatton’s.
Mrs. R. Waseca spent New Year’s at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. J. Susa.
