Tioga (9 Jan 1919)
Lottie Cole came home Friday morning after spending the holidays with friends in
Altoona.
Mrs. Mac Butler is on the sick list.
W.E. Palms passed away at his home New Year’s morning after a few days’
sickness. The grief-stricken family have the sympathy of all.
Claude Shepard and wife were called from Hudson the first of the week by the
sickness and death of Mrs. Shepard’s brother, W.E. Palms.
Mrs. W.A. Bedell had an operation at the Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire
last Thursday and at this writing is doing as well as can be expected. Her
daughter, Mrs. John Swanson, accompanied her to the hospital.
Ernest Flick is sick with the flu.
Vern Flick returned from a camp in Washington Tuesday.
Miss Lulu Bedell spent Sunday with their mother in Eau Claire.
Miss Delia Church is helping at the home of John Swanson during the absence of
Mrs. Swanson.
Andrew Wightman, George and Wales Bedell spent Sunday at the Swanson home.
