C.R. Sturdevant was at Humbird Tuesday on business.
Mrs. John Bornhofen was called to Marinette by the illness of her grandfather.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Frantz returned Tuesday from Fennimore where they have spent
several weeks.
Will Waterpool returned from Great Lakes yesterday, having completed his service
there.
Mrs. Wm. Emmons went to Eau Claire Tuesday to join her husband there. They will
make their home at Eau Claire.
Sergt. W.J. Williams of La Crosse is here visiting his father, Dell Williams. He
was discharged from the army at Camp Grant last week.
Clint Carter left Tuesday to resume his work as a passenger brakeman on the main
line. He had been home for ten days spending the time visiting with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. John Carter. He was discharged from the army, having been stationed
at Ft. Dodge.
R.D. Ingham of Willard was in the city on Tuesday and was a caller at this
office. Mr. Ingham is in the mercantile business with his father at both Willard
and Tioga and is also the manager of the O. & N. Lumber Yards at Willard.
