Hewett, Harry (Serving in Madison – 13 Jan 1919)
Hon. and Mrs. Harry Hewett went to Madison on Monday where they will reside
during the session of the legislature. Mr. Hewett is the new assemblyman from
Clark and also the ex-sheriff of the county. He attended the opening session of
the legislature last week, picked his seat and got squared around for hard work.
Mrs. Hewett will live at Madison during the session. Harry’s friends are
confident that he will represent the county at Madison in a manner entirely
satisfactory to his constituents for he has both the ability and the disposition
to look after their interests. His record as a sheriff of the county is second
to none and his services as a public official in the past should have given him
much experience which will be valuable to him in his present position.
