Mrs. Grace Turner will sell all of her personal property next Saturday at a public sale. The sale will start at 10:30 o’clock and a warm lunch will be served at noon.

Walter Rowe took his brother, Ernest, to Loyal last Saturday to the office of Dr. Saeman for treatment.

Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler and daughter, Violet, made a trip to Romadka last Friday.

Miss Ivy Peet went to the institute at Neillsville on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Vet. Pease spent Sunday evening with the Joe Frei family.

Alvin VandeBerg of Marshfield has purchased the Allie Turner farm.

Mrs. Fannie Root and George Hales had phones put in recently.

Miss Edna Phipps died last Friday of plural pneumonia which followed the flu. The body was taken to Sheboygan County for burial.

Mrs. Mary Fulwiler called on Mrs. William Rowe last Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rowe visited with Mrs. Rowe’s mother, Mrs. Estella Mortimer, last Friday afternoon.

Mrs. J.D. Timerson has been at Neillsville for some time, taking care of her sister, Ethel, who is sick with the flu.

Word was received here Friday that Rollie Anthony, a soldier in France, had died of pneumonia. He leaves his parents, a brother and his wife to mourn his departure.
