Lynn Morris left for Chicago Sunday night.

Sheriff M.M. Weaver went to Oshkosh Monday on business.

Attorney Lewis, of Madison, was in the city Tuesday, on business.

Fred Miller of Withee was down Sunday for a visit in the Ole C. Andersen family.

Mrs. John Patterson ad two children visited at the C.B. Dresden home Tuesday. They were on their way to Seattle, Washington.

Harry Wren, oldest son of Marion Wren of Washougal, Wash., died at Brooklyn, N.Y., of pneumonia. He was chief engineer on a U.S. transport.

The Ladies’ Aid will meet in the M.E. Church parlors Wednesday, Jan. 29. The serving committee will be Mesdames Beardsley, Ruddock, Irvine, and Darling.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Williamson left Saturday for Lake Forest and Chicago. Mr. Williamson is attending the National Canners’ convention at the latter place.

Charles Youmans, of Timber Lake, S.D., visited at the M.F. Beaulieu home Tuesday. He had been to Chicago with a carload of horses and was on his way home.

Secretary Patey of the YMCA has moved to the L.B. Ring property. Mr. Ring is already in Milwaukee and Mrs. Ring joins him there. They will make their home in that city.

Jud. Lyons, who has been in the United States service at Vancouver, Washington, is in the spruce division, returned home yesterday. He has been discharged from the service.

Soren B. Andersen of Butternut spent Sunday here with his brother, Ole Andersen, and family. On Monday he left for Madison, where he will act as a clerk in the Senate Chamber.
