One day Marc. Hoesly’s bull got loose in the barn and Marc was trying to lasso
it, but in vain. He finally got him back into his stall.
Mrs. N. Wilger called on Mrs. O. Botnen Wednesday.
Albert Spiegel returned from Milwaukee Monday,
O. Botnen returned from Minnesota Sunday.
Mrs. W. Haberland and Mrs. O. Botnen enjoyed a sleigh ride with a bunch Friday
night.
Mrs. C. Spiegel called on Mrs. O. Botnen Saturday evening.
Little Miss Frances Wilger called on Ruth Botnen Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. E. Selves is staying home now after working at the Blackman home at
Pleasant Ridge.
Mrs. C. Spiegel is off the sick list.
Carl Spiegel sold a hog last week.
Nick C. Wilger is working for C. Hall this week.
Herbert Haberland and Ernest Hagen called on Olaf Botnen Saturday night.
Oscar Thompson has been hauling hay to town the past week.
Mrs. E. Selves called on Mrs. O. Botnen Sunday afternoon.
Doris Huckstead and Helen Weaver called on Mary Botnen Sunday.
Marie Resong and Ruth Moen called on Mrs. Wilger Sunday.
Mrs. Hugh Selves and two children called on her mother Saturday.
Marc. Hoesly has installed new electric lights in the barn and is making his own
electricity. We pass by in the morning and hear his little engine working,
patiently trying to satisfy Marc. The cows seem more contented than Marc.
Carl Spiegel helped Ole Botnen butcher on Monday morning.
