Dells Dam (23 Jan 1919)

Anton Olson arrived Saturday from Black River Falls, where he had been visiting his daughter. He will spend several days visiting friends in this neighborhood and then will return to his daughter’s and from there he will go to Minnesota, where he and his son, Elmer, have a farm.

Mrs. Frank Raether is able to be around and help with the work again.

James Carriman returned home from France Monday. He is one of our Indian soldiers.

Mr. and Mrs. John Apfel and son, Legare, spent Sunday at the John Iverson home.

Mrs. Charley Horton took supper with Pearl Braman and wife Sunday.

Ferol Leopold taught our school on Monday and Tuesday for practice teaching.

Clyde Horton was taken to the Marshfield Hospital for an x-ray examination.

Krumrey’s oil tank tipped over at John Apfel’s mailbox Monday, one of the front wheels having come off. No one was hurt.
