Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Dewey were at Marshfield Tuesday.
Mrs. Conrad Stelloh spent Tuesday afternoon at Marshfield.
County Treasurer John Irvine was at Marshfield on Tuesday.
M. Skoda and daughter returned yesterday from Rochester.
Mrs. Chas. Gates came from Alma Center Tuesday for a brief visit.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plummer on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Oscar Gerhardt returned yesterday, having been discharged from the navy.
Jule Barton was here last week, having just been discharged from the army.
W.E. Hall is here from Canada for a visit with his daughter, Mrs. J.V. Ayers.
Thomas Lowe went to the hospital at Marshfield Saturday to undergo treatment.
A twelve pound daughter was born to Rev. and Mrs. D. Grether Saturday, January
25.
Tom Wren returned yesterday from a few days’ visit and business trip in
Milwaukee.
Mrs. Kemery returned Tuesday from a several weeks’ visit with her daughter at
Sparta.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Breckler of Fennimore spent a couple days this week with Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Frantz.
Miss Clara Heyder entertained a number of young ladies Tuesday evening at a
shower for Miss Ethel Stockwell.
Dr. W.A. Leason has been laid up with the rheumatism for the past three weeks,
but will be back at his office again in a few days.
Free Burge recently underwent an operation at the Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau
Clarie. Mrs. Burge spent a week with him there, returning home Friday.
A.J. Knorr and daughter, Miss Myrtle, went to Milwaukee Tuesday where they will
be joined by Mrs. Knorr and go to Fort Meyers, Florida, to spend the balance of
the winter.
C.H. Young went to Milwaukee Tuesday and from there will go to Lakeville,
Florida, to spend several weeks on his orange grove, which will bear this year.
Mrs. Young and daughter will join him there in a short time.
At the installation of officers of R.N.A. Camp No. 6710, the following officers
were installed: Oracle, Mrs. Louise Ruddock;Vice-Oracle, Mrs. A. Lynch;
Recorder, Mrs. Fannie Sears; Receiver, Mrs. C. Krumrey; Chancellor, Mrs. Tom
Kelly; Inner Sentinel, Mrs. Kate Cornest; Outer Sentinel, Mrs. Kate Cornest;
Manager, Mrs. John Irvine.
