Miss Bernice Irvine spent the weekend with relatives in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Wonser and daughter, Elizabeth, of Granton called on Mr. and
Mrs. Walter E. Steinhaus last Sunday afternoon.
Misses Helen and Leona Ripke are again on the sick list.
The Red Cross drive last week in this district was very successful. The
following names were secured by the committee: C.C.Kroll and family 100%, Mr.
and Mrs. Ernest Campbell, Mrs. August Sievert, Aug. Bussewitz, Robert A. Jacob
and family 100%, John Ripke, Wm. Bohnsack, Mrs. Harvey Campbell, D. Segert and
family 100%, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Turville, Sr., William Turvell, Jr., Roscoe Brown,
Elmer Brown, Ellis Brown, W.E. Steinhaus and family 100%, Ranch No. 1 (Cy and
Dave Snyder and Geo. Palmer) 100%, Arnold Wilke and family 100%, Wm. Dollase,
Arthur Imig and family 100%. A few others had already taken out memberships at
the Neillsville banks. The following little folks joined the Junior Red Cross:
Netta Steinhaus, Clarence Wilke, Harold and Elton Imig.
